High Risk Life Insurance

This is a question that sometimes plays on my mind. When I’m watching action movies that include dangerous stunts. Are the actors and stuntmen have high risk life insurance policies in case they got hurt in an accident? I heard before that some insurance companies don’t accept high risk jobs like construction workers, pilots etc. because of the big possibility of  accidents or asked for a waiver from the plan-holder on job-related mishaps, or unless the premium is very high. Good news as time changed so immensely that some insurance companies accept high risk jobs for insurance. Even deadly diseases like cancer and heart problems were also considered. Though only few at this time maybe in the near future all insurance companies will follow suit.

No Worries

Before, when an Insurance agent will approach and try to sell an insurance plan to me,  I will always say no, thinking I don’t need them. But when a friend showed me the advantages of having one by showing me the benefits she got, I was persuaded to get one too. She told me then that if I’m worried about the price of the policy, I should get the term life insurance where I can choose a fixed premium and not a floating rate which means that the amount in the  first payment will be the same up to the last. Right now I’m just waiting for the policy to mature after I paid it in full. No more worries and stress, just peace of mind. :)

Looking beyond tomorrow

We work hard today to augment our daily expenses,  save to build a house, so we can have roof over our head. To support the kids schooling and personal needs. After we have done that, what’s next? To save for tomorrow, for we never know what it’s gonna be when we get there. That’s why it’s wise to invest on something we can rely on when we are in need. A life insurance that will give us peace of mind, that we don’t have to worry about the children’s future when something unexpected happened to us.

It sounds morbid isn’t it, but we just have to be practical, things happen beyond our control. If we are thinking we cannot afford it coz we still have expenses to deal with, then get the one within our means. And there are so many insurance plans that cater within your needs, ask for quotations and the extent of coverage we can get. And think of the benefits our loved ones will get when we are gone.
