Today our local cooperative celebrated its 35th anniversary. We have now 29,000+ members and third of the largest cooperatives in the Philippines. Who would ever thought  this organization founded in 1976 and started with only 70 members will grow this big . They were small business entrepreneurs, ordinary employees and market vendors. With the objective of helping small entrepreneurs and ordinary employees succeed, by lending them capitals to start new businesses and earn extra income to augment the family expenses. Business capitals they can loan with easy payment plan in the cooperative rather than on loan-sharks that charged 20% of the debt.

From the total assets of Php 28,659.80 and annual income of Php 1,976.00 in 1976, it has grown to Php 1,464,895,991.91 total assets and annual income of  Php 40,547,117.70 as of Dec. 2010. Government officials including former to current Presidents of the Philippines commended our Cooperative for helping so many people even in this very unstable economy.

Continuing the legacy…A certain standard of excellence forged by 35 years of this cooperative existence. NOVADECI is like a light that is meant to be reflected, it shines infinitely. The legacy of being a norm of cooperation and services amidst the turmoil of the ever changing time is a treasured history. You only continue what is great. But NOVADECI aims to be more that just great, rooted in its humble beginning, it gears itself towards setting the future. Come fly with us..
